Fans of the Paris Saint Germain team cannot admire the game of striker Lionel Messi for a short time.

The 35-year-old Argentine is set to become a free agent next summer and so far all attempts by the Ligue 1 side to offer the star a new contract have been unsuccessful.

As journalist Gerard Romero writes, PSG is unlikely to be able to persuade the sniper to sign a new contract.

It is reported that L. Messi's decision not to stay in the French capital was determined by winning perhaps the most famous title of his career at the end of last year - the World Cup.

This, according to Mr. Romero, made the veteran look for career challenges elsewhere.
